Inception
(Pt 1 2017)
Inception was the second major exhibition that the gallery organised, split into two parts, to be exhibited in two different galleries that varied in size.
Part One was exhibited during November/December of 2017 in Swansea Grand Theatre on their first floor exhibition space.
Inception was a new show, the owner went out and personally, along with his personal assistant, viewed local student artists and selected a variety of them to be exhibited with the gallery, free of charge.
Some of the artists chosen had exhibited with us before but they were selected because their works would work well with the show and intended context of Inception.
Inception was an exhibition about showcasing the impact of size and detail in artwork. Although the gallery would be showcasing the miniaturized versions of these pieces chosen, the large scale versions would also join the show on its journey into the two galleries chosen to exhibit.
